Changes coming around the “hub” at Magic Kingdom Park, WDW

February 25, 2014

The traffic flow circling Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom has always been a bit congested. Disney Imagineers are already in the process of remedying that problem. Construction has begun to add a second ring around the main hub that will increase the number of walkways and also provide designated FastPass+ areas for parade viewing and to see Wishes in the evenings.

In order to create the second ring, some of the landscaping will be scaled back or removed altogether and some of the waterways will be made smaller, but not be removed. Once completed, there will be fountains and topiaries added for decoration, and also artificial grass. More info to come as we hear. Thank you Disney Dining for the info!
