Disney is really cornering the market in regards to movies over the next two years. We have so many exciting films to look forward to already, and now they’re talking about even more. Disney announced release dates for its “Cinderella” film and an untitled Marvel project, stating the films will open on March 13, 2015 and July 8, 2016, respectively.
Marvel fans have more great news. Disney has already scheduled two Marvel movies for the summer of 2016, but has not given out any details about either one. It will release a sequel to “Thor” later this year and to “Captain America” next year, so the next installment would seem appropriate. Other projects in the pipeline include “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “The Avengers 2” and “Ant-Man.”
We reported yesterday that “Pirates of the Caribbean 5” will begin filming at the end of this year, or the very beginning of 2014, being released in the Summer of 2015. Movie goers will have to start marking their calenders if Disney keeps this up. I don’t remember a time when Disney had so many movies scheduled for production or release over a two year time period like this. We will as always, keep you posted on the latest and greatest that comes out regarding these films, and the others that are scheduled for release!
