Boating Recreation

Ever go to the park in the summer and think “WOW, it’s really hot and crowded here. What can my family and myself do until the evening?” If so, than this is the perfect family activity!
The Walt Disney Resort has ample boating locations, and options! Guest can choose to boat at The Yacht and Beach Club Marina with Crescent Lake Recreation and enjoy a nighttime fireworks cruise for IllumiNations. Which is sure to put a smile on everyone’s face, whether it’s a family event, or a romantic one! During the day, guests can rent their own boat, and pilot their vessel around between Yacht and Beach, The Board Walk, and Swan and Dolphin Resorts. Not to mention they can cruise on over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Not to mention, children’s recreational activities also offers a pirate treasure hunt cruise for the little ones!
At Disney’s Contemporary Resort, guests can partake in the thrilling adventures of Sammy Duvall Recreation! Options include parasailing, tubing, and water skiing! These are the perfect activities for those adrenalin junkies!
Next stop, Disney’s Polynesian and Grand Floridian Resorts! They offer similar choices, like the fireworks cruise. Embark on a romantic cruise around Seven Seas Lagoon to watch the classic, captivating Wishes! Nighttime Spectacular! Or for a more family oriented option, try the Pirate Cruise, complete with Wishes fireworks to end the night! During the day, the Polynesian Resort offers renting out the catamaran! Who wouldn’t want the opportunity to sail around Seven Seas Lagoon?
The Wilderness Lodge, and Fort Wilderness Camping Ground offer a fishing excursion for those who love the great outdoors! Fishing on Bay Lake in the early morning, guests won’t even know they’re at Disney World!!
And finally, Disney’s Caribbean Resort. Enjoy a nice paddle boat ride around the lake! It’s sure to be tons of fun, as long as everyone doesn’t mind a little leg work!
All of these locations offer boats for different experiences! If relaxation is to be sought after, then try renting a pontoon boat! It’s big enough for the entire family! Spend the afternoon relaxing and soaking up that Florida Sunshine! For a bit more thrilling adventure, try the sea racers! These little boats seat 2-3 people and really get up and go! Definitely more of a fast paced experience! Other marina locations include Downtown Disney, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, and Disney’s Coronado Resort. See! Disney offers all sorts of watercraft activities! Not to mention that all of these offer exceptional photo opportunities, as seen above! And I can say, from personal experience, from renting the pontoon and sea racers, that water sporting is one of the best out of park activities that Disney has to offer!!
