Maleficent is all the rage right now, people seem to love the movie, along with the fashion trends that go along with it. Last week we showed you a Maleficent inspired nail tutorial, and today’s theme is Sleeping Beauty. Here’s what you need to do to get these magically themed nails~
What you’ll need
Light Blue Nail Polish
Hot Pink Nail Polish
Glitter Nail Polish
Clear Top Coat
Makeup Sponge
How to make it
Step 1
Start with one coat of polish on a plain blue nail.
It’s okay if some of the nail shows through, because we are going to be putting more colors on top of it soon.
Step 2
Next, you need a piece of a makeup sponge. You can purchase these at any drugstore on the makeup aisle for a couple of dollars.
Step 3
Paint the end of the sponge with the pink nail polish.
Step 4
Dab the paint onto a piece of paper to get rid of the excess before you actually paint the nail.
Step 5
Dab the pink onto the edge of the nail in quick blotting-like motions.
Step 6
Paint the glitter onto a clean part of the sponge.
You can cut the pink off the sponge if you’re finished using it, or you can just flip it over and use the other end.
Step 7
Use the same dabbing motion to cover the pink part in glitter.
Step 8
Cover the pink part and ust a little bit of the blue part with the glitter so they fade together.
Step 9
Cover your design with a quick-drying top coat and your nails look just like Sleeping Beauty’s gown!
